Space combines elegant inworld creation tools and top quality graphics engine in its latest release.
The new private room and furniture system (called "Floorplan") released by Space this month is designed to make it easy even for first time virtual world users to lay out and personalise good looking scenes.
The inworld UI lets users choose between a top down view with furniture automatically snapping to floors or walls. Or users can switch to a free moving camera; whichever is easier for them.
The system takes advantage of the Unity game engine's powerful tools, with customisable buttons that region designers can add to the main UI allowing anything from animated curtains to entire region transformations to be accessible to customers at the click of a button.
